It's a steampunk puppet fish sculpture. Or is it a submarine or armoured airship? I'm not exactly sure, but I reckon that there is a story there somewhere.

I entered the fish into the 40th Rio Tinto Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards hosted by the Gladstone Art Gallery and Museum in 2016 where it got the Highly Commended award and the People's Choice award in the Sculpture section.

It also made an appearance at the Brunswick Gallery for the Make or Break group exhibition of craft and sculptural works in 2019.
