In 2018, Gecko Gallery in the small town of Fish Creek in Gippsland, Victoria handed out ostrich eggs to forty artists to work their magic on. I turned mine into a rocket to allow my ostrich pilot - an ostrinaut - to finally be able to fly. This was a fun project and very popular with exhibition goers. I later entered it into the Small Works Arts Prize at the Brunswick Street Gallery in inner suburban Fitzroy.
